Since the start of the playoffs, the Oilers haven't had a game yet where they have been awarded more powerplay opportunities than their opponents.

This seems like something that would be pretty uncommon over a ten game stretch.

Anyone know what the record is for consecutive playoff games without having an advantage in playoff opportunities?

But they are getting powerplays

They might catch the blues in pp opportunities this series and the blues were out last round

Dead last among active teams. They get two a game and that's the quota

Vegas should have had 6 penalties easily tonight

Because the Oilers are saints and always the victims.
They generally out chance and outplay teams. It's always like this

Its not whining. It's what's happening. Shit load gets ignored in their games and they get called very quickly

First period today was some of the worst I've seen. Happens too often. It's like the refs think our pp is #1 when it isn't anymore

They were at 20 coming into tonight. The you have the top two at 35 and 30. Those teams aren't doing anything different

Kinda seems like they are always the villains according to this streak.

Curious if anyone knows what the record is?

34 consecutive games by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

From game 2 of 2021 playoffs 1st round to game 7 of the 2024 playoffs 1st round. So taking between 5 straight series

Were games like this played in a different dimension or what's the explanation?
