Benson Krebs and Quinn

We might have something here.
Man. They make all these sneaky smart plays then fumble it at the end. Krebs looked like Benson, in a good way. Tenacious, smart and dangerous. Benson looked like Krebs, not in a good way. Weak on the puck and slow to shoot. Benson still made the occasional pass that showed his high level hockey IQ especially on zone entries.

Quinn is broken imo. Needs to get his speed back and then maybe his confidence will come with it. But i dont think he should be in the lineup when Kulich comes back

I think you live with Peterka's sub-par defense because of his offense. Krebs has to go. Quinn is a reclamation project after this year, he isn't worth moving to me, not even as an add. Bet on him back to form next year rather than sell for peanuts.

Am I the only one that thinks Krebs has done a decent job this season of transforming his game to fit his role as a bottom 6 energy player?

He's been a whipping boy of mine for a long time, but I haven't disliked his game this season.

Was at the game last night.

my main thought is the 3 stars.

UPL was #1 by far.

Even with 2 goals scored i thought Thompson was terrible most of the night. He was a turnover machine. I wouldn't have even had him in the list. at best maybe a pity 3rd star.

Norris seemed pretty solid for the most part.

I'm not sure who does these, but they really got the list backwards.

Doesn't excel in his role as a skill player or a 4th liner. Means he is not effective.

Find a real center and yes.
Krebs advanced stats were best out of everyone and I will admit I didn't watch the entire game the parts I did watch especially the 3rd period I thought he looked like one of the best players out there.

He was engaged and was strong on the forecheck. Sure its only one game but lets give it some time.

The Krebs hate mirrors the Grigensons hate from last year: way too much vitriol toward a bottom six player who's reasonably competent at executing their role.

Of course in Krebs' case there's the added weight of being a core piece in the Eichel trade.

Eh. This wasn't a virtuoso performance. Sabres played OK and took advantage of a shaky goalie.

UPL played well and yet still got bailed out by 4 clean post hits.

Puck luck certainly on our side.

I spent almost 10 hours in my car yesterday (6:30 to 4:30) with a couple of breaks for fun things like gasoline, breakfast, a terrible/small/unappealing lunch, and then waiting to pick someone up. The last thing I wanted to do was watch them get run through by the league's best 1-2 center combo while in the midst of another losing streak. I did look at the score after I got home and while I was consoling someone on their life (I know, I wouldn't have asked me for advice either, but hey, someone did) and here we are.

I hope your right on Quinn. Eas extremely high on him.in jumior tha in Rochester then finally Buffalo. I thought with a few good summers of training he would get stronger and round out nicely. Now it's looks like he don't give a shit

A skill undoubtedly well-developed from your prominent role in the Sabres fan community.
