Talbot could've also stopped that Yakupov shot. Blaming Kreider for the goal is ridiculous.

It's not Richards for losing a puck battle that Hall outworked, and out hustled him to. Richie was very casual in a 1-1 game late in the third.

The Rangers took EDM for granted.

Last night was unacceptable and inexcusable. You cannot under any circumstances lose to one of the two worst teams in the league, at home. And to score 1 goal? Furious at the team, another game where they didn't show enough urgency and kind of coasted.

Im sorry, I like Cally, Love his effort, but if you want 6.5 or more a year you have to hit the net on those unbelievable chances he had in the third period. Yes, he got the chances, but if you want elite goal scorers money than you have to finish consistently like an elite scorer, not just show flashes of it. See ya Cally, been fun!

Teams so dominate, were definitely contenders and we proved it last night.... Hope this team doesn't collectively take games off in the playoffs too.

Zucc was the only player that skated hard all game last game. Watching how casual this team got out of the gate and played the entire game, you know they aren't built around winners and guys that are self starters.

Worst team in the league for 5+ years and a goalie that's never been a starter and the Rangers don't show up.

Where was Nash, Stepan, Kreider last night? Hagelin? Richard?

Coaching staff can't team up for an easy win??

2nd round exit, best case scenario with this make up.

Absolutely, everybody saw that. It was a bad effort by Cam on that shot, but what Kreider did wasnt a bad effort. It wasnt an effort at all

Just when you think this team has turned the corner, they lose to the ****ing oilers at home.

Thanks for reading your press clippings, morons.

I just don't see it. Callahan played a great game. Setting himself and his teammates up for scoring chances all night.
Just couldn't finish tonight. It happens.

This was a pretty winnable game after the 1st period. How many chances do you need to fire wide? Mother of laaaaaaawd.
And putting out the Richards line in the final minutes was a mistake. They played sloppy and dumb for most of the game.

****ing Rainjuhs, man. ****.

I was never a fan of shot blocking as a strategy. Always felt it was useful as a tactic for specific situations. ie:

Against a WC team, tied late in the 3rd period. Get the point, then try to get another in OT or SO.

If ever there was a situation where that ugly system would be useful....

really stupid to let that point walk out of the building like that.

Oh, it's OK we only have to play the red hot schmenguins now. meh

The best you can do in hockey is somehow manage more scoring chances than the opponent. There are simply going to be games where the puck doesn't go in..

That's all this was.

Not to mention, if they're looking to get applause, holding something in the 2nd intermission is probably the worst time for that.

How Callahan was bad

Cally missed the net a few times, at least he created chances with his hustle, but Scrivens made a great save on him on the breakaway, he had 8 hits and was the best Ranger on the ice...

I would say Cam should of had that Yakupov shot if it didn't deflect off Kreider. Am I the only one who saw that?

That shot wasn't straight in, if it didn't hit Kreider's leg and careen to the right I think Cam stops it. (to the right from the shooter's perspective)
