Near where sand and waves meet.
Sadly true.

We're a 1 line + 1 player offense. We spent $40M on a PP one-time shooter that's invisible at ES. Most of our scoring depth belongs on a 3rd scoring line playing 12 sheltered offensive zone minutes a night. Our 4th line has been poor. Our defense is comprised of a #1, a #3/4, two 5s, and two 7s. Our transition defense and offense have been terrible and our goaltending has mostly been mediocre to poor.
The team lacks a real line right now. Gus is absent. The 2nd and 3rd line are a huge question. The 4th, "identity" line has no identity.

Yes of course but I mean just an observation not a forecast lol
Did not expect this 4 games in.
No disrespect or anything meant. It's just, I keep seeing people commenting that Stamkos is invisible at 5v5 and it's like.. yeah, that's who he's been and TBL fans told us we were getting lol

An email that won't get any traction.

"GM Trotz and Coach Bruno,
Gentlemen ... you have a roster with a ton of talent. 0-4-0 is on you, not them. It would be one thing if the team was consistently in games, but they aren't. There is no offensive pressure. The team defense is absent and can't clear the puck. Discipline is lacking. "

Stamkos really doesn't offer much if he isn't scoring on the PP. Granted, neither do most of the lineup at the moment.

Schenn's one of the worst defenseman I've seen in quite a while and I'm not talking about just the players on the Preds. McCarron's a disaster as well.

Stamkos seems to be living up to what Tampa fans said of him. He's strictly a PP specialist and otherwise invisible to a liability. That's the sort of role player that a coach can bury on a 4th line for sheltered minutes in a game, and then pick the PP spots to send him out there and blast away with the one timer cannon.

I hope it's just issues of line chaos and chemistry and he can get it going.

Like you said he's not the only one who's looked pretty iffy so far.

I thought Marchessault was noticeable. The speed game is still his wheelhouse, it seems.
