Lucic's foot speed is not good and I would be concerned. Just like with Alzner with the Habs.

Best I would offer is this... Lucic, 2019 1st (top 10 protected for one year), and a 2020 2nd for Patch. Best I could do and not sure I like it. Lucic's skating is a concern.

Done deal. Lucic + 1st + 2020 2nd? Ok. We could choose to extend Pach or if his ask is crazy like 8x8 or 8x7 or something then we could just go after Stone/Nyquist/Silf/Johanssen or someone in UFA

I would have him on the Rangers in a heartbeat. They need a policeman type. At half retained he’s fine. Maybe the contracts a couple years too long but I expect he’ll do ok for at least a couple more years.

No, I think he had a rough half season but is still the player he was two years ago, and still the player he was in Los Angeles. Generally when people talk about Lucic, they are saying he sucks compared to 2 or 3 years ago, not 7 or 8 years ago.
