Babcock will be fine in Edmonton... for the "gud pros." The guys that end up on his shit list are going to have a bad time which in all likelihood will rot the room. It's happened on every team he's coached and I'm pretty sure at his age he's not going to change. Not sure why Oilers management thinks Babcock is the answer.

Why does being hard-ass or a tough coach associated with having to be a jerk? That you have to be both in order to win. I don't think any coach (no matter how mild-mannered) has won the Cup or had even a modicum of success in the NHL without a hard-ass attitude. I have no doubt that Babcock and his ilk are exactly that. The problem is, they're also (for lack of a better term) world-class dicks. And that's the problem here. Plus, as discussed earlier in this thread, Babcock might not be that good of a coach anymore, full-stop. And if that's the case, what's the point of hiring him in the first place? END RANT.

Considering this was your analysis and prediction for Edmonton v. Anaheim I'll take any criticism from you as a compliment:

Mcdavid has 9 points in his last 4 games vs the Ducks.

Anaheim has no one who can stop McDrai its inevitable. They have the most playoff experience in the NHL outside of the Panthers. The Ducks are undisciplined and that's going to be a problem against the Oilers PP.

Honestly, I don't know how this series will be remotely close, 4-5 games EDM wins.
