So glad, I had him ahead of Crosby since day 1. Crosby might be the "better" player, but Ovechkin will go down as the best NHL goal scorer. (Hard to ignore Hull, even tho WHA wasn't the NHL)

I am with you given how he has looked this season. I don't want him to be a dead weight, but when he plays with passion as he has, and found what is currently the best scoring pace of his career, you gotta show him love.

Nevermind this team needs veteran leadership as well. You could do worse than a guy like Gally who leaves it all on the ice.

It really is a redemption arc. If he can keep up this play, I'd love to see him retire as a Hab, but if he ever gets traded to a contender at a future TDL, I really hope he wins a cup
