Team really let Skew Skimmer down there. Learning experience. Apparently he was still mad in the handshake line.

Stu is usually the cause of the loss, not the win. Ironic
When SKinner can post a 0.900 more often than not, then he can talk. He needs to STFU lol. Just clown behavior. Be quiet when you are the 2nd best goalie 8/10 games

HDSC tonight were 17-2 for the Oilers. That's wild.

Yup. Piss poor attitude, turning into Smith. Look at the goals he let in. He's not tracking the puck properly always behind the play. That 2nd goal, albeit a good play, he was on queer street just slipping around, stumbling, unable to set himself, zero ability to read a play.

I'm not happy about that third goal, but you have played maybe 2 good games the entire season. Make a save.

Hey guys

If the season ended today we would play Winnipeg in the first round

Let's thank the hockey Gods that the season doesn't end today
I haven't even been looking at the standings because I assumed we are well out. As bad as we have been we are still a playoff team? Seems like a good sign to me

Great win! Wish we had a better starter than Stuart tho
It is looking this way. He hasn't been good at all. Sure he was probably better than Lankinen but we probably won't be facing Lankinen in the playoffs. Skinner is going to be facing Demko, or Hellebuyuk, Ottenger, etc.

He's our guy though, so hopefully he pulls his game together.

Best game of the season by far. Brown and Janmark finally get going. Arvidsson's best game of the year - was just all over the ice tonight impacting the play in every positive way. He and Draisaitl are looking like an excellent duo.

Nice to see some offensive swagger back in the group. Hopefully the turning point to break out of their funk.

Interesting game. Obviously not a 7-3 decision most nights, but the Oilers were the better team and clearly 'wanted it' more. Nice to see the team FINALLY break out and get some goals, albeit at least three would have been stopped by AHL back-ups.

My page showed the link to the Canucks' board reaction to this game, so I clicked it just out of curiousity. Good Grief...! In the first two pages, they've attributed the loss to (a) the refs and (b) the Flu that is going around the lower mainland.

I do think some of y'all on here are quite insane, but I will give this wacky Oilers' board credit for one thing -- generally, when our guys lose, we blame... our guys.

Yup. That is the crazy thing. Sitting in the last wild card spot for now! Been playing some bad hockey and yet we are right in the thick of it

That 0-3 start was ugly but I think we are 7-4-1 in our last 12 games. As bad as it feels we have played at times we are actually playing some solid hockey lately. Canucks are a tough opponent. Hopefully we can build off that
