what r odds Rodrigue gets in against SJ? Just wanna see what we have in him. Apparently, Oilers are in on free agent signing goalie from NCAA Denver
Sure. But again tonight being the worst player on your line, and he was with different people tonight, it isn't a good look. Skinner was an offside machine tonight on the rush and everytime because he wants to go peripheral instead of taking a hit to gain line. he's not great in heavy hockey, and he's never really had to play through it. Still not sold on him.I'd love to see how many points Knob left on the table by healthy scratching Jeff Skinner so much, barely giving him over 10 minutes a game for a stretch, and now putting him with Janmark...who may never score another goal.
You are asking for more than he can giveDidn't realize that Bouch has 60 points on the year.
Still a good year offensively. Now tighten it up south of the blue line come playoffs.
For all the hate Connor Brown gets, hes 6th on the oilers forwards in points.
Yeah. Offensively he's a big black hole and has been that his whole time here. He's more like Belanger Triangle. Him and Janmark.Much like Lucic years ago, most of his production came in before the new year before falling of a cliff.
He has 2-5-7 in 2025 (38 games) vs, 6-10-16 in 2024 (37games)
Devour feculence VegasEat shit, Vegas.
Seriously, after that atrocious first, managing to steal a RW is massive.
Pickard should get more leash going forward.
I'd love to see him start but the Oilers being the Oilers will likely start Pickard again and I guess I can't blame them as the Oilers don't want to admit it but Pickard has outplayed Skinner this year and deserves all the starts he's getting while Skinner is out !!what r odds Rodrigue gets in against SJ? I'm not a goalie, and I dont play one on TV, but Stu has no lateral movement whatsoever and he is constantly getting beat on glove hand. I just cant see him getting better. Oilernation cringes when he is in netsI'd love to see him start but the Oilers being the Oilers will likely start Pickard again and I guess I can't blame them as the Oilers don't want to admit it but Pickard has outplayed Skinner this year and deserves all the starts he's getting while Skinner is out !!![]()
Sportsnet showed a clip of Knob speaking about Pickard after the game. He started it off saying “what Pickard lacks in technical ability he more than makes up for in effort” (paraphrased). I thought it was an odd statement to make considering his chosen goalie Skinner has no technical ability whatsoever, can’t move around and his entire game is reliant on hoping the puck just hits him and his teammates can clear the rebound before someone puts it in the net. Whatever faint hope I had that Pickard would finish the season as starter over Skinner evaporated after that. Not much doubt that the team is more confident with Pickard in the net. We haven't seen the obvious frustrations coming from the bench.
Knob will have to admit to himself that his best goalie isn't great but he looked good tonight. How can he start the playoffs with Stu given what we've seen here?
Yup, this year you just don't know which Stu you're gonna get hey?I'm not a goalie, and I dont play one on TV, but Stu has no lateral movement whatsoever and he is constantly getting beat on glove hand. I just cant see him getting better. Oilernation cringes when he is in nets
Still bugs me that all these Knights, guys like Eichel got a SC. Look at him tonight and he botched almost everything. Eichel -2 Zero boxcars, at least had a couple shots Stone was worse. STone -2 Zero boxcars, zero plays all night and zero shots. Stone wasn't invisible tonight, he was awful.
Guy like Drai plays huge in almost every game and still no cups.

frustrating to say the least. I find the big thing is he just cant make that big save when it matters and he is always gonna let in 1 weak oneYup, this year you just don't know which Stu you're gonna get hey?![]()
oh, we know exactly which Stu we're going to get every game....Yup, this year you just don't know which Stu you're gonna get hey?![]()
When Draisaitl was out as well, the Oilers would have had almost $40MM on the IR.No McDavid or Ekholm
Or Frederic or Kane or Klingberg or Skinner
Poor bugger was stapled to Janmark and Brown. McDrai would have a hard time producing with those 2.Kapanen brings the same pk, is playing very well defensively and took away the tying goal 5mins into third. Kap offers better speed and still think he might something. He's playing with some zip and even telecast saying he had a strong game. Got a nice assist on Arvid goal. Made some other plays. But some really good defensive plays.
This was another weak game from J Skinner. Really think he has some trouble against the bigger clubs.
I hope we get him, we need a lot of new goalies so that hopefully some amount to something worthwhile. That goalie I mentioned earlier is Matt Davis.

He has been awful for awhile now. Janmark and Brown are such nothing players. Skate around, don’t hit, don’t generate offence, don’t forecheck, don’t scoreEmberson not good
McDrai have had issues producing with those 2Poor bugger was stapled to Janmark and Brown. McDrai would have a hard time producing with those 2.
