The Oilers in the offensive zone NEVER stop moving. That's the difference.

I don't know at what point the Avs decided they'd stop incorporating motion offensively but they are just brutal in the offensive zone when they do have the puck. It's low percentage play after low percentage play, solo hero missions, and turnovers.

I guess that'll happen when you've got Manson/De Haan/Middleton playing half the time but it doesn't excuse the forwards.

They’re always gassed then, doesn’t matter if it’s back to back, several days off, it’s consistently been pretty shit efforts this year. There’s small glimmers of some consistent play and then it just disappears
