he threw a temper tantrum. he shot the puck at the petes bench and almost hit the coach.

He shot the puck at the Petes bench, nearly hitting their coach, Dick Todd, he then tossed a water bottle at the officials. Some say he didn't come out to shake hands after the series but I think that's because he was kicked out.

That's probably one of the reasons why he fell in the draft...a good player to have on the ice, but a cancer for a team.

I'd hardly say he was a cancer. I mean he lead the most dominant OHL team ever, and again this season led them to the finals. Hardly cancer. His reaction wasn't good, but it was probably out of fustration.

NO offense but if you want to be the best you must act with respect. In the NHL, how would it look if guys like Sakic, Steve Y, etc shot pucks at other teams and threw bottles because they lsot their cool. Quite sad IMO.

On another note, after this playoffs, will D. Ryder get more respect on these boards?

Quite sad? Just a little condescending eh...

I don't understand why many people expect players to act perfectly and say all the right things, and then complain because they are boring. Schremp will mature but he will certainly have a few Roenick-esque incidents in the future.

There is a big difference between being boring and shooting pucks at the other teams bench at the end of a series.

He should get 10 games to start next year for that nonsense, and any OHL suspensions will might be upheld by other leagues.

But I thought Schremps attitude issues were overblown :sarcasm:

How is shooting the puck at another teams bench condescending? I can understand starting a fight on the ice at the end of a game due to frustration. But shooting the puck at guys not on he ice is quite sad. It falls into the same catageory as players throwing their sticks over the glass in rage, etc. What happens if that puck he shot clears the players glass and goes into the stands and seriously hurts someone. Quite poor judgement IMO.

How much of an impact did Jordan Staal have on this series? Was he far and away Paterborough's best player?

He played well, but I wouldn't say he was far and away the best. Shantz would have my vote for MVP of the playoffs, Daniel Ryder was voted MVP, Downie had a great series, Kaleta and Hendrikx had a few really timely goals. That's the great thing about Peterborough - every win was truly a team effort.

Oh, but they are! They only appear when London loses.

The kid has a boatload of talent, but has no clue what sportsmanship and being gracious in a loss is.

Good luck to him... and good riddance.

There has been a lot of players that throw a fit. Look at E Johnson at the U18 when he was kicked out. That is the thing about players that have that type of edge, it can go both ways sometimes.

EJ did it outside of the ice...there was a camera there, but he was alone, outside of the rink...

As a fan of both teams, it's hard to see someone use the word smoked, when you look at the fact that every game was decided by 1 goal, with game 1 going into double ot, and game 2 into ot. The Petes depth won out over the Knights big line but all in all in from what I saw it was a great, hard fought series. Kudos to both teams for putting on some very entertaining hockey! :yo:

No he didn't. Corey Perry was the leader of that team.
