We'd be getting sort of old. Gourde is like 33. Bjorkstrand will be 30 next month. Oleksiak is 32.

Gourde I'm a bit lower on in this point of his career but if we can sign him to a team friendly deal to take on the Glendenning role in the off-season I'm all for it

Yeah while Gourde can spark plug our 3rd line, I think we need a bit more size in the top 6.

I agree, only concern would be size come playoff time.
Maybe we get Seattle to retain some salary on Bjorkstrand as well (I assume they'll retain half for Gourde) and then get a physical 4th liner with what remains of cap space?

Great adds if true, especially Bjorkstrand, who has been my top realistic target for quite some time. Whether they add any size in the bottom 6 or not, the team will have improved considerably. Depending on any retention and salary going back, they may be able to still add one more piece, either in the.bottom 6 or depth dman.

TB has assigned Brown and Atkinson to Syracuse, so take that into account. We have a little bit more cap room now. Up to $7 million.
