Man this is rough take. I'm sure Reinbacher will be a good hockey player..

Unfortunately for us, Michkov looks like a borderline elite player.

Reinbacher was a wild bold pick who immediately proceeded to have a bad season, got injured, looked really bad at camp and got injured for the season again... what exactly makes you "sure" he will be a good player when everything is pointing the other way?

A Michkov non-pick level of mistake would be a career-ending one for any normal job

Im legit trying to figure in what Reinbacher is good at tbh. He has nothing like special , he seems like some Kovacevic

Can't judge a 20 year old dman. He could be anything from Pietrangelo to Petry.

There is 0 reasoning why we past on him , none.

These guys would disagree:

He had a bad season on a very bad team UNTIL he joined the Rocket where he ended his season on a strong note. People keep repeating his time on a truly shitty team, but don't talk about his very good start in a stronger league.

Laval are dominant right now, but considering how Reinbacher played with them, I think they'd be even more dominant right now if he weren't injured..

Everybody wants to be in the mix but coming out from the rebuild with Slaf and Rein as 2 of your 3 tank picks is not good , keep tanking and keep accumulating until you have actual franchise altering talent. Hagens Misa or Schaeffer this year and McKenna next year , easiest rebuild of my life.

"Boohoo Caufield and Suzuki will be 2 years older" , couldn't care less they aren't winning anything without better players than themselves on the team

Not good indeed, Slaf isn't proven yet and he doesn't look good at all this year and Reinbacher is nothing but a gigantic question mark at this point. Add the terrible Newhook trade and Dach who's simply dreadful out there and we could be tanking for a decade+ if none of these players pan out for us.

Time will tell but I agree that 2 more tank years is a must even without the potential nightmare scenario I just mentionned. We need game breaking talent and lots of it.

Hopefully Gorton will handle the trades now. Hughes kind of suck at trading. Dach, Newhook, Barron lol…

Hughes can stick to negociate contract

You kinda suck at having a balanced view 'lol'.

Both Monahan trades and the Laine trade are great. Dach is still a WIP and calling that a bad trade is entirely premature. Just looking to bunch up stuff to create your narrative.

Yes both Colorado trades are looking bad, but they came out of a ownership mandate to accelerate the rebuild and that's exactly what happens when you try gambles to accelerate a rebuild. That's what happens when you gamble on reclamation projects. They more often miss than hit.
