Such a stupid thing to say. Especially back in their barn, glad the jackets took it that way. Guy has been around long enough to know what to say publicly and what can he said within his circle of friends.

beat a team winless in 10 and took a couple of games from Det who is a dumpster fire. Some are easily impressed.
It was a start. The last 3 games of the year would tell how far they still have to go.
I'd go as far as to say there are only 6 teams in our Conference who are currently not awful.
We got swept by one of them.

The team has recently found a better flow in moving the puck. Sometimes it’s as simple as adding a talent like Laine on an offensive line, even if he isn’t good at 5v5 yet. The powerplay 1 doesn’t rely as much on the drop pass anymore, we have multiple options to enter the zone. The team clearly has more talent than teams like Buddalo and Detroit, it makes sense that we played a good game against them. We surpassed them in the standings. Fired their coach. Small steps. I think we’re above of the basement now.
