You'd basically have to be bottom 2 in the league to guarantee ourselves one of the prospects that are massive needle movers, 3rd last if you believe in McQueen.

I don't see us sitting there when all is said and done.

I just want to have a decent shot at those picks when it's lottery time... which I think will happen. Then it's up to chance anyway, but yeah probably more around 3-7

1st Last Place! Congrats everyone!

Now, for those wishing we'd have 4-5 more points than we do now, just how that would make our rebuild better. ie not getting Martone or Hagens for example

Man did not expect us to be this bad. I knew the Atlantic improved but I didn't see much improvement elsewhere in the east.

Can't say I'm upset though getting a very good center prospect would be great.

I’m officially tank pilled.

I don’t even care about picking top 3, I just want a good reason to fire MSL and apply some pressure to management.

I’m thankful we don’t have relegation. This team would be pushed down so hard we’d be playing in peewee.
At least we could get a good look at the other peewee coaches for a potential Marty replacement

Don’t underestimate this team

The tank is full of gas and well on its way to its target. This is no time to replace its operator.

Team is super easy to play against.

Goalies don't have to battle to see.

D don't have to worry about getting crunched.

Forwards don't have to worry about anyone stepping up on them.

I really wasn’t expecting us to be here so early again this year, but after the initial excitement, I’m already at the point where I don’t even look at the schedule and watch games so yeah count me in the pro tank mob, but this better be the last time, I wanna enjoy cheering for my team again at some point

Half the league is crap like last season actually. Habs have more or equal regular wins then WC2 teams.

Now the Habs being unable to win more than two games in a row means they will stay in the abyss. The issue here is that rebuilding teams usually manage winning streaks of more than 3 games during their rebuild to go along their losing streaks. Habs do not, they flatline outside their losing streaks.

I like how pathetic and soft we are, just how easy the team is to dominate. I think I saw 4 guys in the fetal position in the third, maybe it's a new defensive strategy?

I know it's hard to watch but a top 3 this year would almost guarantee the rebuild is over specially since it looks like Calgary's pick could be outside of the top 10. The team would not start winning overnight the kids got to get 1 or 2 years or experience after that but we'd be on our way for sure and we would instantly become a better UFA destination with Demidov, Hutson and Hagen, Martone, Misa/McQueen coming up.

Might as well tank while the fans and Molson have the patience to do so. We're on the clock and I hope we get what we need by the end of year 5 of the rebuild. Otherwise it's going to get real ugly. We're already seeing a lot of impatience in year 3.

Fine. Finish bottom three. Pick Martone, Hagens or McQueen.

Pray for CGY to continue as is. Pick BPA, don’t care.

But, for the love of god; trade for Andersson AND Carlo (bruins might be on their last breath). Sign Andersson for whatever it takes. Then we can breath.

I wouldn’t mind Trent Frederick patrolling our other lines and it looks like he may be available.
