I don’t listen to any morning show at this point.

I’ll throw Felger and Mazz on for a segment in the afternoon, but have been listening to more Mad Dog Russo lately.

I liked Toucher and Rich together. I don't like Toucher or Rich separately. The drama leading up to their breakup at least had me tuning in out of curiosity, but I haven't really gone out of my way to listen to them since. I occasionally put on Toucher and Hardy if there's a noteworthy sports thing going on (which have been few and far between since the Celtics won), listened to the premiere episode of Rich, but that's it. Otherwise I'm checked out.

Pretty bizarre to have plug pulled already but three sports shows in AM always seemed like one too many. I would think whoever is running WEEI will make a run at Rich now. They reunited Jones and Keefe from Sports Hub days. Surely Rich would be better than Arcand and Hart?

Toucher and Hardy is nothing but sports segments with writers to let them do the talking of actual sports, complaining about Bill Belichick, sometimes David Lee Roth and all of it circling back to Fred and his life. Hardy and John sit around and listen and chuckle.

It's tough to listen to.

Show was doomed from the start. Rich can’t steer the ship and whoever had the idea that Ted Johnson would be a good co-host should be fired. Guy can’t even put a sentence together.

As far as Fred and Hardy goes, it’s also a mess. Fred has been a bit better but everything still turns into a story about himself. Hardy constantly looks very uncomfortable and Wallach is absolutely useless.

Funny thing is, Hardy would be perfect for ZLX mornings

None of it matters tho. Industry is dying.

I can't think of one thing to like about Fred Toucher. Hardy obviously took that job for the pay bump.

I'm not sure the industry is dying though. It might simply be oversaturated though. Doesn't Sports Hub pull in massive numbers from 10-6? The simulcast probably helps as well. I will listen to a live sports talk show over the endless amounts of mind numbingly boring podcasts anyday.

Even among sports radio hosts, Fred Toucher seems like a massive DB which says a lot in an industry littered with guys like Minehan, Callahan, Cowherd, and so on.

He's like a dude obsessed with a spouse years after a divorce. Hey Fred, your industry is dying.

It was dying long before him and Rich Shertenlieb broke up.

Fred Toucher has Belichick Derandgement Syndrome.

The entire show is just wash, rinse, repeat the same stupid bits/conversations. Hardy just sits there and listens to Fred and throws in a comment here and there.

I need to find something else to listen to in the mornings.
Agree there numbers are people like you/I. People who get coffee at the same place every morning on the way to work. Creatures of habit. The show is / has been a joke for a long time but I still tune in to listen to the guests.

Very good point. But for me, not anymore. Woke up this morning and big surprise Fred was talking about himself. (Did you know he drives his kids around a lot?). The man is the walking, talking example of the word curmudgeon.

I am done. Threw on Greg Hill until I find something else.
