Yup.I think the lack of Jeannot news is telling -- i don't think we see him again this season.
Yeah Dooley said its week to week, dont expect him back for gms 1 and 2 but not ruled out for the series. Hillier clarified that it means at least a week from todayJim already confirmed that Jeannot wont play in the first week at all.
Great if he can do it saves us 2 million at least and he would be fine with 1 year deal.Malott coming for Jeannot's job.
So what changed your mind?Took some time off because I didn't want rain on everyone's parade.
Oilers fans are excited to see in the line up at sometime point but he’s gonna be shit at game play so he’s going to do something dirty and get himself suspended aka the Kane special.Only way I see Kane getting into the series is if they're desperate for offense. He hasn't played all year and the playoffs are not a great time for getting into game shape.
The Oilers are different and its why they give the Kings such a hard time. Depth doesnt really matter. Maybe their depth players pot a couple. Skinner will let in a couple stinkers and also make a couple nice saves. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced the Oilers are going to win.
Kings fans are talking up LA's depth as an advantage, but I don't see it. I think this Oilers forward group has plenty of depth.
And for all the talk of Edmonton's injuries, I think Doughty isn't 100%.
Go the Randy Carlyle/Ducks way and run Bouchard til he drops. Do not pass up any chance at laying the body on him.The Oilers are different and its why they give the Kings such a hard time. Its Mcdavid and Draisaitl. They need to minimize the damage from those 2 especially on the powerplay along with Bouchard. Easier said than done.
I agree that would be smart. Jeannot is really the only guy that does that and hes out injured. Maybe others can step up.Go the Randy Carlyle/Ducks way and run Bouchard til he drops. Do not pass up any chance at laying the body on him.

Unless your name is Peter Forsberg.Only way I see Kane getting into the series is if they're desperate for offense. He hasn't played all year and the playoffs are not a great time for getting into game shape.

If ever there was a chance for the Kings to slay the dragon, this is it. The series is a dead heat, with the Kings holding a slight 50.2 percent edge.
Copley brought in as 3G. George getting the starter role in the AHL playoffs.
After gutting out most of the 82 games season, except for a few scheduling mishaps I can handle another for 4 or 5 more games. So what changed your mind?
