They must have, finally, run out of gas. That and Andersen threw us a life line that Kreider grabbed with both hands. The final PP, Burns crosscheck which definitely was a penalty, came at an awful time for them as well, they didn't have the juice to press us as hard as they had on earlier PKs.

I think also time was winding down so they started playing for preservation of life. Definitely kept them from dialing anything they had left back up at that point.
