At this point I can't see how the Moose will bounce back.

Never so happy to be wrong :yo:

Darveau getting the start. At this point, I'm speculating that Fucale is sick or something of the sort. Or maybe they're just confident in Darveau.
Frankly I feel Darveau earned it after bailing out Fucs. Bailed him out in game 1 til he could get his head on right again too.

Great to see Darveau stepping up when we need him, but I still find it slightly terrifying watching him play.

So many times tonight where you'd see the puck on a Val d'Or players stick, and there's one half of the net wide open. He made some great saves, but he got lucky quite a few times. Those two wraparound attempts for instance, he just didn't have the quickness to get back in position.

Still, he's getting results, and Fucale isn't. Goaltending controversy was probably the last thing I was expecting in the playoffs.

I agree with all this LOL

there will always be singles, but ticket Atlantic will consider it sold out! why even bother to quote me

It's not sold out until there are not seats (10595) left. Last year in the playoffs the Mooseheads sold out most of the games, this playoffs they haven't had one sell out yet until today.

Game 5 is Sold Out. 10,595 will welcome the Moose back. Should be fun.

If anyone can bounce back, it is Fucale. We will probably never know what was going on in his head last week, but I'm confident he can bounce back and play great for them tonight.

Awesome game tonight, the Metro Center was electric! Drouin's point streak comes to an end and we still win. Good bounce back game from Fucale, he came up with a big breakaway save in OT.

The Ehlers thread mad me think to raise this: What is the correct pronunciation of "Gadoury"

John Moore says GADry (or sometimes GADury, which I cant possibly imagine is correct (and drives me up the wall every time . The Moose announcer calls it gaDOORy, which sounds more plausible, but the Ehlers thread indicates he is probably wrong there... anyone know?

I'd go with the PA announcers pronunciation. If the kid was having his last name mispronounced in his home arena, he would say something!

He says GaDOURy... not GaDOORy

Game 6 tonight will be televised on the Eastlink channel. Should be a good one tonight. Hopefully the Moose can put them away tonight cause i don't know if my nerves can handle a game 7 knowing the winning plays for the cup.

Ya as much as I like watching them play, I would be quite content for them just to sew things up tonight and focus on the finals.

What did I miss?

I'm gonna quote my friend on this one; "Some large guy fell down about 10 stairs and it took them so long to get him on the stretcher because he was so big". No idea if he was just a large man that fell but thats what he said happened.

This game has been utter bull****....

Ehlers gets hit at the blue line when the puck is behind the Val-d'Or net... Drouin gets his stick slashed out of his hands... Ehlers gets his stick slashed out of his hands on what would have been a breakaway (you don't just take your glove off for no reason)... Fucale gets his stick slashed out of his hands when the Val-d'Or player skates by...

I'm surprised they called it when Drouin got checked in the face.
