I will admit, I ran to door frame of my office when Loma Prieta quake hit and I got smacked by swinging door.

(WWII era construction of building with inner walls and floors held together by tension wires and bolts. Very nasty shaking. I was on 2nd floor.)

You need a sweet national media gig like Dr. Jones has ... work from home, dress biz casual from the waste up, and wait for the next newsworthy seismic event around the U.S. to trigger another round of video calls. Might help to relocate to a low probability location (in a state with low taxes, of course) so you don't have to redecorate your home office regularly.
