Eh, an article doesn't really wholly convey tone. There's no shortage of people calling Ho-sang a really smart guy - and based on that and the comments made make it seem like he may have been slightly facetious there. I.e., mocking the no humour policy of the NHL in a somewhat subtle way.

And the Islanders take him. Oh well.
