I'd prefer 5th + McBain for Myers + 8th, but would gladly throw in a 3rd or marginal prospect to get it done. Would have to think about the 2nd, any other draft I wouldn't mind, but obviously this year is different.

if they want nichushkin and i hope they do (i get the sense they do), i have a feeling that he may drop right in there at 8. they may do very well wheeling and dealing AND get nich!!! IF they have decided to move skinner (which i doubt at this point) today may just transform this team in a big way and fast. then there are still other possible trades and free agency. holy macaroni! i'm feeling optimistic here.

i'm not a huge jr fan but i hope he proves his doubters wrong for the good of the team. anyone can learn and improve. i don't know what role muller is playing in all this.

the canes are probably going to get alot better today and in the next month. they could remain about the same i suppose but screwing up and coming out worse just isn't possible. and, i want dupius (if a decent price) and cooke too somehow. i don't get this clutterbuck infactuation. sure he's 25yrs. old but with 4 goals, 10 pts. and a minus five this year. dime a dozen guy imo.

Agree. Someone may fall. I think there is a chance Jones could be there. Not a great one, but worth waiting on.

yep, unless we plan on being right at the cap that'll be the case. we can maybe have 750K if we send Bowman down with the ELC to Nichushkin (still holding out hope boys) due to the ELC bonus cushion.
