Idk about all that. Wouldn't even say he's one of my favorites, I just think his ceiling is high.

With the CHL likely to lose the top end upperclassmen I wonder if they will open the league up to 15 year olds.

Surprised they have Reid and Martin this high. Martin feels like a guy our scouts would target though.

So what about all the O’Brien, Martin, Cootes, Reschny (is he a center?) type of centers?

Should always go BPA but I’m kinda hoping the Flyers at least get 2 or more centers with their first 6 picks and just hope one is a homerun or 2 end up being top 6 types

Reminds me of luchanko, don’t see a huge difference between O’Brien and Martin.

Personally think O'Brien and Cootes are a good bit ahead of Martin and Reschny but they're all in the same tier for me atm. Martin isn't bad but I think he's a high floor/low ceiling guy, not too interested. Reschny is a wild card, I liked him a lot at the beginning of the year but he's been falling ever since. Not a big fan of his pace and I think its gonna hurt him as he moves up levels since his skating/athleticism is average. He's smart but I'm not sure he's smart enough to offset that while being #small. He's probably gonna end up on the wing too.

Ryabkin is going to bounce back enough to get in our range and be worth taking. That is what I'm clinging on to, that his slump is a blip that will work out in our favor. Then we make a massive deal for Demidov. Michkov-Ryabkin-Demidov. And all three of them denounce Putin.

Ryabkin yes, I'd take him with one of our later 1sts and hope he rebounds with Michkov the "veteran" guiding him.

Demidov??? That ship has sailed my friend. I would have given up what CBJ wanted last year for pick 4 to get him. To me he is the most offensively gifted player from the '24 draft.

No way in hell Montreal ever lets him go now.

One he's Demidov.
Two, he is the potential Michkov-mistake antidote for Hughes and their whole scouting team for that matter.

Had philly jumped MTL last year to take Demidov and MTL takes Lindstrom and his broken back instead combined with Reinbacher's regression and glass knees.....imagine the pitchforks going after Hughes in MTL now.
