I'm not saying it's not nice to have a lot of eggs in different baskets, but that is a lot of capital. It sounds like contract hell in 4-5 years (usually top 50 picks burn their 1st elc year after 1-2 years). I bet if the Flyers fall in love with a player they could trade up from pick 4-5 to 1-3 or move up from 24 to 10-13 range.I wouldn’t mind if the Flyers package one or two picks together to move up but the Flyers prospect pipeline is pretty thin so I think an injection of 6-7 prospects in the top 50 would be better with the hope that one or two of them break out, and at least adding some nice potential for a supporting cast
