The best part of that for me, was the saves by Binnington in overtime.

Truly beautiful. The most important position in the game, and he did great under an onslaught.

Absolutely. He's one of a small handful of players I genuinely dislike, but damn if he's not funny.

I couldn't bring myself to root for the US after the 51st State bullshit (and it pisses me the hell off that I couldn't), so I am very pleased with how this game turned out. Here's hoping we aren't actively and obviously the bad guys when we get to the Olympics.

Props to the players for actually giving a shit here. We see far too often these days where athletes are just mailing it in for these extra curriculars. They played with pride.

It was a great short tournament. The NHL needs to capitalize on these new eyeballs that they got. The opportunity is there. We always talk about that after things like the Olympics being such a great opportunity but it’s never really jumped on.

We haven’t seen something like this happen in sports in a while.

US's bad roster decisions cost them this game. Once M. Tkatchuk couldn't go and Connor was scratched they had about a line and a half of players that can't hang at this level

The team overall was amazing and really fun to watch but it's hard not to be disappointed with how much talent was left at home
