McKinnon complains that 10 minutes of 3on3 is too long, that 7mins is absolute max. Uhhhm, no. Just divide the efforts differently and not have one player play half of that long-ish OT time and - McKinnon himself - not try to break across the entire ice singlehandedly 3 times in row? Just adjust and play differently?

That was a fun game. Would have been a pretty bad look for Canada if they lost, but of course golden boy put his cape on.

I said to my buddy that TORTS was going to bench TK when the season starts again, but Cooper already took care of it.

They didn't score, but being able to ice Mc, Mac, Mak in OT is just nuts. Speaking of which, I am heavily in favor of a 10 minute OT. So much better than a shootout.

Speaking of mens league..I had a game on Super Bowl Sunday afternooon. I don't know if it's because I wasn't hungover (was saving my drinking night for the Super Bowl) or that I didn't think about playing all morning like I usually do, but I had the game of my life.

4 goals including the game-winner with 5 seconds left and 1 primary apple. I usually get 1 hatty per season but can't remember my last 4 piece.

Love that this will always be connected to Super Bowl Sunday for me.
