Now the team has an owner with $ this off-season is really BA's first opportunity to throw some cash around. He's probably got the 'go ahead" and instructions to spend more by ownership. And I'm sure he's quite happy about it.

I like the Idea if going big in FA but not sure I like the age of those two on a huge and long contract.

I guess Rantanen and Marner are corner cases, both are around the age of Schmaltz and only one or two years older than Keller, but still signing them would lock them in up to their age 35 season, if they sign a max term deal - you never know
