Official 2024-25 Utah HC Season Discussion.

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Basing anything on the last game or two, I agree is BS. I base it on 5 years and 4 years, plenty of time to know what we might or might not have in a GM and coach.

I've heard AT say he has to do better, or the team didn't play well. You only hear what you want to hear because you have a hate for AT.

He does, folks apparently think it's not possible to love the person and still be able to criticize / challenge the player. They also are forgetting that with the way kids are these days, the hardline doesn't work like it did in prior generations. Yeah, the Keenan fan just wrote that! :laugh:

I don't hate AT or BA, i think they are both good people. What I question is their leadership, it seems like they say the players need to be accountable, while this is true, a good leader will start with himself being accountable. Like when BA says, "the players will determine what we do at the TDL". I have heard all of ATs pressers.

Yeah, very small sample size. Doesn't mean much. I do wonder why those players chose to pick AT over 31 other coaches though. I wonder what their thoughts were.

I thought it was funny because our guys sure seem to like playing for him. Doesn't make sense to me, like it's a joke it's so ridiculous. A nothing burger worth nothing more than a laugh.

Does Doan just not got what it takes to be a 50-60 point c or w or is it someone who is just going to take some time?

we are in the hunt buddy! This is exactly where most people expected this team to be at this point. Everything is going according to schedule if you ask the coach, GM, or even the ownership group.

If the GM and coach are happy with this season, that is worse then them saying it but knowing we aren't hitting expectations....

Let's see how we end up this year before we give out high fives or pitch forks. I, as a fan, expected Utah to be in the playoffs this year. I might be a year early on that prediction. If the season ended today Utah would have 83pts. The last wild card would have 92pts. I don't think 83pts. is a real good jump, but maybe on a team like Utah where talent is still lacking, and the injuries they have had, maybe, just maybe us fans should be happy. Utah just can't get that consistency to go on that winning streak.

If we make the playoffs now, it should be high fives at end of year, 20% chance we make it in, 5 to 1 odds for all you believers that want to make some easy money. I don't think its pitchforks unless we finish under 80 points, then we will here injuries, 8-10 year plan, young team, etc. Low 80s seems about right to me.
