I was wondering if Ingram was missing some time due to mental health. The team's handling of his time on IR has seemed a little off. Never occurred to me that he had this good of a reason for it.

Unfortunately, I think the latest update per BA (accotding to Craig Morgan,) is that Marino isn't going to be back until somethime the beginning of Feb. and Durzi won't be back until around season's end.

So not playing meaningful games is 100 percent BA fault.

Had opportunity to help the team out but failed to do so. We should not be sellers anymore. If we are once again where is the accountability

I think BA did a great job adding Marino, Sergi and reupping Durzi, and it was unfortunate both Durzi and Marino got hurt. The D would probably have been pretty good. Today Utah is 12th best in GA's, which I think is pretty good, everything considered. Our D should be in pretty good shape going forward, but BA has to, without a doubt, not have Hayton as your first line C. The kid is a 3C and that is where he should play. Not sure where BA is going to fine one, but he has to. As far as selling, there is Bjugstad, Cole, Maanta and one or two others and none will Utah any return worth mentioning. BA will also make a trade or two as well, he has too at this time of Utah's rebuild.

So not playing meaningful games is 100 percent BA fault.

Anderson, Provorov, Fowler, Carrier for starters. We are too late, BA has a plan but lacks agility when faced with disruptors. This is common with inexperienced leaders. BA made some big mistakes this year. Will he hang or will Armstrong and Smith chalk it up to a learning lesson.

And yes I would be calling daily to Buffalo as they will be trading one of there Dmen.

How good this team is in a season or two when it all comes together is not dependent on making the playoffs this season. It's not important to a successful rebuild. I'd rather use the assets towards the big picture.

Not sure why you think BA would use assets to make the playoffs now, when he's said many times that they weren't expecting to make the playoffs to begin with. Obviously, ownership isn't pushing him to do something.

BA is practicing what he preaches when he says, "stick to the process." Seems like a franchise motto because I recall hearing BA, AT, CA, Smith and some players all say it at one time or another.

Playoffs weren't the plan this year. Competing for a playoff spot was. What you see as mistakes I see as patience and sticking to the plan.

This is not fantasy NHL where you snap your fingers. I think adding Sergachev, Marino and signing Durzi was pretty damn good, and then when injuries hit BA added Matta. Cole has also been a surprise, as was Mav before injury. I really don't see how BA could have done much more.

Can you elaborate? What opportunities?

He did a great job IMO improving the D core. Injuries have derailed that for sure. Maybe he could have added better replacement depth than Bortuzzo or waiver pick ups.

We may have a legit 1C now with Cooley. Need another top 6 C though. None in the pipeline so that has to come from a trade. Not easy to do.

With game 41 in the books, it's time for mid-season picks and pans. Here's who's scoring at a greater clip than last season and who's not. The Crouse-Bjugstad-Maccelli line is brutal.

I totally disagree with his public messages, its just plain wrong to lead this way. Saying we will be really good in a few years every year just kicks the can down the road and means there is no accountability for anyone. Its easy to pick on players with lesser stats now like Maccelli and Crouse, but what about our coach and GM? Oh yes, thats right, we have injuries, we were broke, etc.....it takes 8-10 years to be a playoff team. Management gets the excuses but the individual players don't get any.

BA is behind schedule, we are 2-8 in our last 10 games and on an 83 point place half way through the season. We only need to be about 14 points better in the second half to make it into the playoffs. We should be sellers at the TDL, load up for 4 years from now when we are going to be good!
