They have tried to trade both. Most recently they were discussing a trade with Carolina before the Colorado trade finalized. He's not a cancer but I will say again he would not be worth the acquisition cost plus salary for Utah to take the risk.

How do you know what the cost would be? If Utah made such a deal I would think they expect EP to bounce back and that his salary would not be an issue for them.

I'm sure the cost would be high, but they said BA was one of the GM's who contacted the Canucks. You just never know.
BA will never do a big TDL deal for a 1C like EP, BA needs months/years to contemplate it. Canucks will wait for the summer if they trade EP, and if they trade EP to us, this board will hate what we have to give up, meaning Cooley, 1st, and Durzi type of return, it will hurt, a lot. They might move JT at the TDL that is my guess, 50/50 chance of that.

There is no way we or anyone else will get EP for a 3C, 3W, and a 5/6D. They will want Cooley and or Keller as part of the trade or maybe Sergi, 2 of those 3, and maybe a first. No way BA does that, but that is more like the cost of a young 1C.
