We were at the top of the Division and 3rd in the league pre- 4 Nations and were the best team in the league for like 2 months prior to that…with these same playersAnything less than competing to be the best team in the league this season is a failure when you consider McDrai and where the team was last season. Instead we're worse.
They should've been interviewing during the playoffs last year. Wonder if they would've given away our 2025 first if Holland wasn't in charge.Anything less than competing to be the best team in the league this season is a failure when you consider McDrai and where the team was last season. And yes I agree Jackson should have aimed higher. Clearly he never should have been hired in the first place. Ultimately it's all at the feet of Daryl Katz for hiring incompetent upper management time and time again. But this thread is about Bowman. Not them.

Maybe you think it was a fluke but sample size tells you different
Bowman was fine.
Jackson handcuffed him with all those NMCs.
For a second, I thought I was looking at Enron executives. It's an annual tradition for me to start one of these threads.
Was hoping I wouldn't have to once that clown Holland left. But Bowman is clearly no better.
Yet another year of McDrai wasted on a defense with a glaring hole in the top 4, a starting goaltender that is anti-clutch and zero depth scoring.

Its the lady of the house. She has business experience now.Connor's dog Lenard will be hired as the next Oilers president and GM on June 30th, 2025 by Katz.
Our record is a clear indication of just how good Knoblauchs system is and how good McDavid and Draisaitl are.We were at the top of the Division and 3rd in the league pre- 4 Nations and were the best team in the league for like 2 months prior to that…with these same players

If goaltending once again sewers us winning the cup this season something drastic needs to happen. Everyone that is vouching for Stu and Pickard needs to fired. Schwartz better not be back because he's the #1 backer.
The fact that the media was kissing Skinner's ass tells you that management had absolutely no intention of moving him or keeping him and getting an upgrade. If we end up losing in the playoffs I hope that we are f***ing annihilated on the scoreboard and that our goalies have like a -10 in expected goals. They'll do something stupid once they realize what they've done and panic, like Bouchard for Binnington in the summer or something, lol. And then they'll throw Skinner under the bus and the media will go open season on him.

On paper I’m a handsome man.On paper this is a deep forward group.
But thats only on paper.
On paper this would have been a deep forward group in 2019. But Brown, Henrique, Nuge, Janmark, Arvidsson, Kane are well past their prime. Holland is not the GM but I always joked that he was trying to win the All-Star game 8 years ago. Seems JJ is on the same wave.On paper this is a deep forward group.
