If u claim they have to stay on main roster. A waiver claim does nothing.

I actually thought it would Tampa who claimed Prosvetov. I think he'll get a few games and wind up back on waivers and we'll probably reclaim him for Tucson and depth.

Thornton hasn't been assigned anywhere has he? This is his 20 year old year so the A makes as much sense as another year of junior.

I saw on Twitter that Jones is one way contract and has a $100K bonus due in next couple days. So that cost for a 3rd stringer might have kept teams from claiming him.
