With the 180h pick, the San Jose Sharks select, from MODO of the Allsvenskan, LD

Mattias Norlinder

Scouting report:
Great skater with good offensive instincts. Has a great first pass and good shot from the point. Uses his skating ability and good hands to get the puck into the offensive zone. Not that physical in the defensive zone but uses his positioning and stick work to solve defensive situations.

about time
Yeah he's an excellent prospect, and low-bust factor IMO but he's just outside the top-5 for me. Even saw him top-3 a few times... Eh.

I mean, it's not a reach like Barret Hayton at freaking 5 overall but still I dont see it. I could be wrong though and I would gladly eat my words.

As far as Button's mock goes..

Literally the two guys after our pick is better.. Newhook and Soderstrom.. and hus U-18 bias shows through with not having Heinola rated but has Tracey and Rees up above.. anyways, about to pick.

Here comes an absolute off-the-board, sleeper pick that is literally just a f***ing dart in the dark because I don't like this draft at this point.

The Boston Bruins are somewhat proud to select from a High School in Lawrenceville.. Nikita Nesterenko

"Nesterenko is one of those kids who were always talked about in High School Hockey as 'talented but too small'. He finally hit a growth spurt and has put on a lot of height. With that height, his skills blossomed, an agile skater with good skills, Nikita put up near a goal a game in High School Hockey and got the attention to attend Brown University next year."
