Lots of bad injuries yesterday to big names. Should change the landscape of a lot of ffl teams...

I'm not football savvy.. do you think Knowshon will be put on the IR with his 4-8 wk injury timeline? My league has IR slot but I'm just going to release him if he can't be IR'd.. he's the least of my injury problems.

I would imagine you'll be able to designate him as an IR player, but it's really up to the rules of your league.

I lost him, Mathews, Charles, and RG3 yesterday over my various teams.

Feels good that I get a win in our league this week.

Feels bad that in my $150 league I lost Jamaal Charles and started Tony Romo over Phillip Rivers. Ugh.

Romo had a decent enough day though, right? Plus, who'd have thought Rivers going against Seattle's D, would have a great game like that? Can't get down on yourself too much for playing Romo in that spot. Most people would have done the same.

2nd guessing in fantasy football is such a waste of time overall (and most weeks I wonder if fantasy football itself isn't a giant waste of time). The past two years I rode a middling team to back to back championships in the league I play in with my college friends. This year I have the 2nd most points in the league, and I'm an easy 0-2. I guess I don't want to win badly enough, haha.

I also had the thing I hate worst happen to me twice, I dropped a player only to have him snapped up immediately. Which always makes me think I did something totally wrong. Combined point total for those players this week? 8.

That happened to me this week. I cut Owen Daniels because Pitta is their clear cut number one TE in Baltimore. He gets snapped up by another team, and jump to his game Thursday, he gets two TDs and Pitta (whom I have as well) does jack. Good times, good times...

Great game today. Few too many flags being thrown though. Some brutal calls both ways as well. One gave the Patriots a huge break too.

I thought our offense was s*** again. At this point, is there enough evidence that exists where we might be able to say that Josh McDaniels isn't that good.

I could be mistaken, but some of the personnel decisions he's been connected to have been bad as well.

He strikes me as the anti-2001-04 OC. I know Weis used to throw stuff against the wall, but yesterday we had 3rd and 2 and they throw a bomb to Edelman. They also had 4th and 1 near midfield and punted (one of my biggest pet peeves), fortunately Jones blocked the FG that ensued, but that game was close to being 17-10 going into the half.

Walker definitely provided good production this week. My pay team is already down Peterson, Green and Cameron...

That Jets time out call was a classic lol

Yeah, I had the same thoughts about yesterday's game. McDaniels play calling is atrocious. He tries to be too clever and outsmart everyone. I'm not a defensive coordinator, but I can tell you that on obviously passing plays like 3rd and long, he tries to do a delayed draw up the middle out of the gun way too frequently. To the point where if Brady actually throws, that's a surprise...

Think about the three most obvious players he's brought in. Tim Tebow, Brandon Llyod and Danny Amendola. Yikes that's a giant bag of **** right there...:naughty:

But doesn't that strike you as why Belichick loves him? The fact that we have 4-3 defensive personnel and we started the season playing the same lackluster 3-4 with Chandler Jones lining up over center tells me that, or Revis playing week 1 giving Wallace a cushion. It's like he bristles at the fact that he has good players and they get credit sometimes. It needs to be oh well, look at the way he USED them that no one thought of.

I forget which Belichick opus I read, but I think McD was big on Maroney and Chad Jackson as well. Could be totally dreaming that one up.

He ended up with 13 points. Rivers had 30.

And I'm ok that I made that move, especially after what Seattle's D did to Rodgers the week before, and the Chargers lost Hardwick, their starting center this week as well. It just hurts a lot knowing that I'm another step back and now 0-2 in a league that I poured 150 freaking dollars into.

There's a fair amount of them not only thinking they're smarter than everyone else, but also trying to show it. Having Revis play zone in week one was probably one of the most incredibly stupid moves I've seen in the BB era. Chandler Jones not being on the end and having free reign to rush the passer is another one. I don't get it. Your best players have to be your best players. Getting in their way of them being effective does nothing but hurt the team. So even if it hurts your ego, do the right thing, FFS...

Ugh. Laurence Maroney. Just terrible.

unreal. Sounds like all these other teams would allow aaron hernandez to play, if he wasn't being held in prison.

I get the idea of due process. I really do. And I might write something more extensive about the fine line between acting and waiting, but this is not one of those cases.

He hasn't denied what he did. He isn't claiming innocence. We have seen pictures of the abuse. Who the **** cares if he gets convicted or not? As an organization and a league are you okay with a world class athlete hitting his four-year-old son with a tree branch on his arms, thigh, and scrotum to the point he has marks all over them and open sores?

We know what Adrian Peterson did and who he did it to. Do you as a team think it is okay or not? You don't need a jury to tell you what you think of these actions.

Well, unless Ray Rice's lawyer suggests the four-year-old attacked him first and was "asking for it."
