Those wings look stellar.
I miss the Chicken Deli wings, that place was our Sunday brunch go to every week back when I still followed the NFL……..

I grew up in Niagara eating original Buffalo wings and you could always find a 5 cent wing special.
I remember the outrage when that was bumped to 25 cents lol.

Wings are stupid expensive (everything really) now but I'm still hooked.
Any Niagara road trip had to include a visit to Gagsters for wings and pizza, dirt cheap great eats even with the exchange rate on the dollar…..

Honeys in Niagara Falls NY was our go to place, started going there early 80's on our over the river drinking nights in high school.

It closed down a few years ago sadly. I took my family there a few times on the way back from US road trips, miss that place, everyone loved it.
Need to find a new one on that side of the river.

** just looked at Gagsters, will have to pop over and try it.

Gagster’s wings are really good and any leftovers from a tray of pizza will keep the family fed for the ride home. If you used to frequent the US side did you ever drink that dynamite drink that tasted like grade soda they sell over their? The girl I was dating went to Brock and she warned me to be careful, which I wasn’t, stuff hits you delayed and put me on my ass, I can’t remember what it was called, but it packed a punch

Cooked indoors in the oven and thank you!

Sumac is a great spice for seafood, chicken and dry rub meats.
I have an outdoor kitchen with big green egg havent cooked meat or fish indoors in years.
I like the pepper and may try that. A few times I got a couple of fresh Maine/NB salmon steaks in the spring and it’s unreal.

Would love to see some pics of them when you get some again.

Sounds delicious.

Interesting! I've never heard of sumac, I'll have to try that sometime. When I grill salmon, I use cajun blackening powder maybe 9 times out of 10. I love it but still, would be nice to try something new.

Look it up.

It's got a tarty or vinegar like taste but not overpowering at all.

"Pantheon" on the Danforth has some of the best Greek food out there. I know the owners quite well.

Shrimp saganaki - Nothing beats this. Shrimp with saganaki (the OPA! cheese) along with some tomatoes and mushrooms. A must buy appetizer if you visit here.

1000013588.jpg

Grilled calamari dinner - some of the best calamari you'll ever try.

1000013598.jpg

Beeftekia dinner - pretty much ground beef burger patties done in a Greek way. Amazing.

Gotta cut it up and squeeze that lemon in there. Dipping into tzatziki is the finisher!

We should all try and get a meet up night where a bunch of dudes from this forum catch a game and some food/drinks.
I was part of this nic-cage leafs FB group (nic-cage was a dude who streamed and hooked us up with YouTube links to leaf games before YouTube cracked down and killed it). Im sure some know of that.
The admins organized booking a box and we all split the cost (was about 300 a person) cash bar, no lines for bathrooms and free food. Was pretty fun, did it twice. Not sure if anyone from HFLeafs was there or maybe they were..

Pretty cool idea. How many of you made it out that night?
