OT: Off-Topic, again.

  • Work is still on-going to rebuild the site styling and features. Please report any issues you may experience so we can look into it.
Still working on everything. Live mode still not working as well. It'll be sometime next week before all the fixes are done.

I think, if I'm reading things right (ha...good luck), it's ultimately going to look real close to the way it did
That's certainly what they're going for. It's being rewritten, but What It Was Before is the target look and feel.

Then you just haven't admitted you hate yourself. :neener:
Perhaps we should have a frank discussion about what sorts of things I do hate.

What if you don't hate yourself but still have push notifications on?
As much as I love everyone here, I don't need push notifications from any app/site in my life. I'm going kind of nuts just being on the Class of 76 text exchange with my HS girlfriends. "Please pray for x (that I don't know or can't remember)" "Prayers" (x 20) all dinging within an hour and then you feel you have to reply something or be looked upon as uncaring. And then you get 20 likes that all ding. Yeah, I'm kind of a grump but I do care, I DO. I'm not going to turn it off, I'll just complain to people who aren't them.

The episode of My Lottery Dream Home that I just watched was in Marshall County TN. Isn't that your stomping grounds @Adz ?
Just seeing this. Yes! Wonder where it was built? I'll see some of my HS friends mid February and I'll ask about it. I grew up in Lewisburg but there are some other little hamlets there, Cornersville, Chapel Hill, Petersburg, etc. If I'd hazard a guess, a dream home location would be on the Chapel Hill side, going north toward Nashville or Cornersville, which is full of rolling hills and beautiful views going south toward Alabama. Lewisburg itself was kinda meh. My dad said it had the distinction of being the only hole above ground in Tennessee.

In my case it helps that I have the patience and the knowhow to filter out the noise and just get the stuff I actually want to know about. That and owing to a combination of being a world-class procrastinator and a determination to turn my neuroses into superpowers, I'm quite skilled in deciding whether or not I care to do anything about said notifications at some undetermined future time.

(Also, Class of '76? That puts you right in between my parents. - Papa's '75 and Mom's '78).

Yep, I'll be 67 end of this month. I don't feel like I'm that old mentally but my driver's license wouldn't lie. In my mind I'm same person with just a few more physical incapacities (I absolutely could NOT paint a ceiling now!)
