  • Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates, this is just a temporary look. We will continue to work on clearing up these issues for the next few days and restore the site to it's more familiar look, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

OT: Off-Topic, again.

In the Appalachia part of Ohio? Yeah, that would've been hit hard.

Here in Columbus we were initially told to expect six to nine inches. Then that got revised downward to three to six. Didn't even manage that much; it all went just south of us.
Yeah she is from Ironton, OH, about 20-25 minutes west of Huntington, WV. I'm not surprised though lots of news people use the weather to gain attention and viewers and will hype the crap out of storms. I've all but quit using local media for weather, we have a local guy on Facebook that works with the NWS and he focuses solely on our county and the one next door. Longer range stuff there are actually several solid guys on YouTube that just more or less show the model runs day to day.

I still like the locals, but follow them on social media instead of the broadcast. They're a lot more detailed and "honest" on socials. In Nashville, Katie Morgan is really great!

But also, I know you're in Bedford, and it's not exactly a top priority for the Nashville folks, so can't really blame you for going the route you do.

Pronounced "aren't in" by the locals.

They had an early pro football team, the Ironton Tanks! (Seems appropriate for Nashville.)

OK, am I the asshole? I walk with a cane and a noticeable limp I hit the button for people with disability so open the door just as I was about to go through the door three people in their 20s passed by me taking the door. I will give him credit they said thank you they did not try to open the door behind them.

Themes and the like (which includes dark mode setting) are being worked on. (I really should put together a FAQ...)

Short version: Dark Mode should follow your browser or OS settings, assuming you're on the "HFB2025" theme.
