You can't, which is why I said it's a shame we didn't get to see it last year, before he got hurt.

Even if they did, are the Bruins not signing a right-shot D-man with some NHL experience, given the lack of depth in RD throughout the organization?

Do you think the Bruins are turning this ship around without gambling on some guys and finding a few diamonds in the rough?

I guess only the Panthers build teams that way. Here in Boston it had better be brand-name players only.
We can gamble on guys who didn’t text this.

Teammate Max Comtois responded: “The truth is we didn’t do anything stupid. We had her consent. We didn’t force her to do anything.”

My apologies if this was brought up already, but I’ve always been a fan of this guy:

Sweeney does seem to have a thing for those Ducks doesn't he? I feel indifferent.

Hearing Seravalli saying JJ Peterka might want out of Buffalo. I would look at what that would take or maybe even try and offer sheet. Speedy young winger with a good shot. Perennial 20-30 goal scorer I'd say. Basically a Jake DeBrusk replacement.

All due respect sir but I'm not touching that topic with a 10-foot poll.

And it could be a similar RD to Perbix. I get everyone wants this rock solid Top 4 D but realistically speaking, plenty of good teams don't have that. Washington won a cup in 2018 heavily leaning on 3 guys, their 4th guy (Kempny) played significantly less.

They aren't coming out of camp with a roster that fans will look at as a definite contender they'll have to gamble on some guys and I think RD is a spot where they might lean into their pro scouting and gamble. Could be another Paul Postma, or it could be a Johnny Boychuk they unearth. If your gonna build a contender you have to find a few players from the nether-regions.

Yeah, couldn't agree more. Do I like Peeke as a top-four guy? Nope. But they gotta get another elite forward—that should be priority number one.

Damn I had no idea, I thought the 5 were it. Better get Lorreta Lynch back on the horn.

No to Marner. Not only will he be over paid he doesn't have the mental toughness needed for the post season. If he does he's certainly kept it well disguised.

You don't want a guy with low compete, low character, and low leadership for 13-15M? But why???

If we assemble a team that squeaks in to the playoffs ....maybe Swayman looks like TT and takes us on a deep run? Pretty much the only way I'd be on the Sway train again...and I have $64M reasons for feeling that way....lol...yes I know ...it's more ;) 😉

I don't really see Perbix as a top4 option, but maybe someone smarter than me does.

I wish we got to see what a Zadorov-Lindholm pairing looked like. With such a shortage or RH defensemen, lots of guys play their off-side now. If that match worked, it opens up a lot of LH UFA options to sign and pair with McAvoy. For example, they could take a chance on Ryan Lindgren recovering his game. He won gold as Mac's parnter and is still just 27.

I'd feel a lot more comfortable about them taking a chance on someone who was going to play with McAvoy. He brings out the best in everyone.
I mentioned this before but I normally don’t regret it when Bruins players move on to other teams.

Ryan Lindgren is an exception. He was a really good draft pick by Boston and should be a valuable part of the defense if they got him back.

A LD cadre of H. Lindholm, Lindgren and Zadorov is strong. Complement them with a RD group of McAvoy, Johiharju and Peeke and the Bruins will be in good shape.

Lohrei fans will strongly dislike this post.

It's seems like Buffalo is looking for what they can get for Byram and JJ Peterka wants out, so Bs need to be on that 100%

Interesting? What's the cost could be?

I'm kinda into signing Pajama boy.

Zacha-PJ boy-Poitras
Khus-Mittelstadt-Roslovic
Lauko-Minten-Kastelic

Would have to make a decision on Lysell. Not sure why I am in favor of ancient centers, but I am.
I’m low key with you. Shortish money i would expect?
