They played 17 games minus 3000 games played I’m sure adding Lindholm, McAvoy, Knies, and Marner will get them winning again

Horribly lazy, soft player. The last thing they need right now. Marner should be the first priority then RFAs, Knies, Bourque, go young and give up some lottery tickets for players who are already established (Knies) or look like they are ready to break out ( Bourque). If that fails overpay for Bennett and Ekblad and trade for another top 6 forward.
Carlo as usual will be exposed against Florida and brutal to watch
I want Martin Necas one of Pasta's best buddy, could Bs get him for Poitras + 2025 Canes 2rd pick + 2026 Leafs 1st pick? Avs almost have no picks next 2 years and a really thin pool prospect...kind of déjà vu!

Maybe? I feel Poitras will actually turn out a good player if he stays healthy. I still might do that trade just because it keeps Pasta happy and fits a current window of competing. I think if Bs get their top prospect C next 2025 draft, with Locemelis in the system, maybe Potsy could become a good trade chip...

They could but maybe instead of waiting 3 -5 years for the 2025 top line C to develop they can find a taker for a C who was drafted high and already has 3-5 years of Pro development and keep Poitras who has 2 years of development already. I only say this because Pasta is in his prime and needs immediate support, not support 3-5 years down the line. I'm Pro Locmonster but I need to see more but so far so great,.

If by some miracle Toronto beats Florida Carlo will get to see his pal Tom Wilson in the next round. No way a team like Toronto can handle Florida and Washington back to back.
IMO Toronto will not pass through Florida and this will confirm the no return of Marner with this quick exit in the second round which increases the chances of signing Marner even if I don’t really believe that it will happen
If they grab a Frondell or Desnoyers or a Martone i think we could see them jump as fast as next year in the Bs team, maybe a year or 2 later for a guy like Hagens cause of his size...

I somewhat agree, all three could see NHL playing time in the later half of next year ... but still too many "if's" ... I'm a proponent of selling the pick we get tomorrow night for more immediate impact players....just my opinion but Detroit's Larkin, Seattle's Wright or Berniers, Duck's Mason McTavish, etc ....and for any of those I'd expect we'd have to add ...but I'd consider it to help next year's team

Jack Quinn is another interesting name. Buffalo has 21 million to sign Peterka, Bryam and McLeod, which I feel like will take up most if not all of their cap space.
Unless one of those three are moving, it feels like Jack Quinn will be out. For someone who also almost scored 40 points in 2/3 years, he's probably going to get a sizable pay raise that Buffalo isn't looking to do.
You'd likely have to trade a piece or two for Quinn but he could definitely be the "next Geekie" that some people are looking for. He has this nasty shot that reminds me a little of him. It's not nearly as fast but his release is filthy.
Bruins need more shooters. They have too many guys that defer at times (Mitts and Zacha) and even some of the younger guys do.

I have heard from Finland that the list was just examples of the teams and Dallas was not there in the 1st place.
But anyway, Sweeney didnt try to kick the wheels and check out any possiblity, which sucks. This team should have ambition at least trying to get the best players instead of 4th liners and other lottery tickets.
