Why did you change it after the signing was confirmed though?

It appears as if it was to make it look like you made a stronger assertion about the signing after it was confirmed.

I edited it after confirmed by an insider. Cause I am not an insider!

I am not stating anywhere recently that I have sources. As I have been told to do.

You don't see how you saying "discussions are happening" is an attempt to make it sound like you have a source?

You can imply that you have sources (as you've clearly been doing lately) without saying "Sources tell me..."

I am "suggesting" that discussions are happening. Not saying they are. How you choose to read them is on you.

Simple discussion.

I think he is the safety net if guerrero (guaranteed) or biggio cant handle 3rd

There is comfort in the Panik signing. He was a great teammate, did what the team asked him to do. And it gives us protection in many areas. If used as he should, as a bench and role player. This is a great signing. He cannot be used like he was last season. Semien signing protects us against that.

So you haven’t been vetted.

In that case, being vague is fine, and suggesting is fine.

But some of your posts don’t have that, you are posting as in its a FACT with your “insider” info.

If you also refuse to get vetted, then don’t make those crying for attention “I told you it was going to happen!!!” posts because you didn’t call it.

You may have suggested it, but you didn’t call it.

Let others decide what you are by the quality of suggestions you post, and not these posts where you are almost seeking gratitude by pointing out the Jays signed one of a large list of utility players they were likely to sign, or DFA the player clearly on the outs.

Simply put, you are NOT vetted, don’t post in fact and don’t go looking for praise when your “suggestions” are correct.

Sounds good. Lol.

I will continue to make suggestions.

I sure hope not. I'm hoping Semien or (worst case) Bichette would agree to move over instead of using Panik as a regular.

Should be a once a week starter (at max) with potential for late game defensive replacement at 2B/SS.

So just to confirm: you posted your thoughts on Panik, then Passan said the Jays had signed him, then, knowing Panik had already signed with the Jays, you went back and edited your post to say the Jays were in "discussions" with him, then you made a separate post to include Passan's tweet.

Again... you don't see why everyone else thinks that's weird and suspicious? If I read something in a way you didn't intend, that's on me. Sure. No problem. If everyone reads something in a way you didn't intend, that's on you.

Lmao you edited this post after the signing to say discussions were happening

I was vetted and told that if I couldnt forward sources to make my posts vague. So I have been. I didnt state Fisher was being DFA'd. I stated dont be surprised if he was. And he was.

I didnt say that Panik was going to be signed. But I stated I wouldnt mind him coming back. And 4 minutes later it was announced that he was.

I am not saying that I have legitimate sources. Im just saying that things I "suggested" are happening. Not backed by any sources. I never stated I had any sources in any of my recent posts.
Yikes this is a bad look for you @BlueForever75

I just thought updating my post after a valid insider posted something is not infringing on the rules of this board because I didnt claim prior that discussions were happening. I updated it after making a "suggestion" and still not claiming I had sources.

Like I didnt claim to have sources for anything since 2-3 weeks ago when people were questioning me. So I will continue to suggest. I understand that the updating of a post after the fact may have confused people. I miscommunicated my intention. Again i have no sources.

Just suggestions.

Ya I know. Shouldnt have updated the post. But its cool. Just simple discussion and suggestions. I have no sources

Again which is fine. But knock it off with the posts like the one below.

And just as I posted my thoughts. Boom. Panik is signed. Hmmmm?

You refuse to be vetted so don't reference your past ideas, discussions and suggestions as if you KNEW it was happening and go looking for praise.

Mitchell: Alternate site showing has Toronto Blue Jays' Jordan Groshans’ sights set high for 2021 - TSN.ca

Don’t tell Groshans he’s viewed as the club’s third baseman of the future or that his estimated time of arrival, realistically, is probably sometime in 2022.
After his experience at the ALT site, where he continues to develop as a shortstop while dabbling at the hot corner, Groshans is looking at 2021 with tunnel vision.
Asked if he expects to play more third base this year than in the past — he only has 20 starts and 172 innings at third, compared to 41 starts and 346 innings at short in the minors — Groshans answers quickly.
And takes it a step further.
“Absolutely, but the difference is I expect to play it in the big leagues this year,” he said over the phone from Texas, ahead of the 14-hour drive he’ll make to Dunedin for big-league camp alongside his dad next week. “A lot of people don't think that, you know? They think 2022, 2023, but trust me, I think I can play in the big leagues at third this year. That’s the goal, that’s the plan.”

So the Panik signing pretty much solidifies our bench. Although a minor league deal, we can pencil him into being part of the opening day roster.

There are organizations out there that like our catching in Moreno, Kirk, and Adams. Its unlikely that we keep 4 OFers like we have today, something has got to give there as well. Rumors are floating out there is a specific organization for the past 2 years has been trying to make a deal with Jays for their catching. Who do you think that is? Im thinking Pirates, but could there be another team out there trying to deal with us? And if so, what deal for one of our catchers and potentially OF bring us?

That's my guessing as well. It must be the pirates, right? If not I cant see who else really needs catching that badly

Catching is a hot commodity. Alot of teams could use an upgrade in their system. Only reason I think its the Pirates is because of Cherrington being there and knowing our prospects.

That being said, I really dont like anything else the Pirates have on their roster that can better the Jays in the immediate future. Steven Brault or Chad Kuhl are interesting, but are they really upgrades to our starting pitching? I think not. Not for our catching prospects.

But if it has been for 2 years, I cannot figure out who the organization can be.
