Ohgren sounds like an evildoer from a Tolkien book. We need a player with a less gloomy name.

Also, the fact that he needs umlauts in his name smacks of high maintenance, to me.

Like Sweetnut said, probably best to just do a search and copy/paste. No one is remembering that shit, lol.
It’s easier than remembering phone numbers. Well before everyone forgot how to do that.

I still remember a few of the alt #### shortcuts and I haven’t used them in 20 years. It’s how we made our names fancy in delta force 2.

If they trade Rossi and can't find a good center to replace him (since good C's are difficult to aquire and rarely become available) it's good to have Yurov & Öhgren as depth from the minors.

Ek, Yurov, Öhgren, JimmyG do sound better than Ek, JimmyG, Hartman as center options.

I think of the dorf in Dragon Age Origins. Not sure if it's spelled the same or not.

At least he hasn't changed how he wants his name pronounced (twice), unlike some other high maintenance player on the team...
Yes, I added this just to tweak someone (not naming names) on here off by making another post about Rossi.

Wasn't Dorf a character in Golf video's played by Tim Conway?

Loved the small man dig once again. You are so reliable - it's comforting. In your honor, i will post this again, in case you missed it the first time.

Meh. I really just can't stand dorfs in most books/games. At least gnomes are for punting and halflings are entertaining, as far as the smaller races go.

Tim Conway is just an amazing comedian/actor.

Hey, as an IT professional, iPhone are a godsend for those with minimal technical skills.
And that is exactly who I associate iPhones with. There is clearly a reason everyone gets them for the old people in their lives.
I had a buddy in college who was a CIS/programming major that I used to go back and forth with. He was adamant that he needed to have an Android because it was better for coding… That dude never used his phone for coding a day in his life. It was just a symbol for him and his career path.

The reality is people should pick whichever one they like better and is easier for them. I like the iPhone better. I like the MacBook Pros better than the crap windows laptops out there, but I much prefer building my own PC than an iMac/Apple desktop. Having an iPhone doesn’t mean a person is “simple” when it comes to tech. Just like having an Android doesn’t make them a wizard either. Hell, you see it often on here that people don’t know how to use basic HTML when typing responses to other posters. I’m guessing there are plenty of Android users in that group.

Can anyone explain why Oghren seems consistently mentioned as a trade piece? Seems a decent amount of Wild fans are pretty quick to include him in proposals. The dude has decent size, clearly had a good season down in the AHL putting up relatively close to a PPG on a clearly garbage team and projects to be a top 6 NHL winger. Which this team also clearly needs. Yet, he's probably included in half or better of the trade proposals since not long after the Wild drafted him. I mean I guess if you can package him to get a true #1 center, fine. I'm in on that idea. But, it's like he's just a GD toss in even for something as low as a 2nd line C. That seems ignorantly shortsighted and relatively asinine to me. I don't get it. What am I missing?
He holds some value but isn’t untouchable

Maybe we should sign Marchand if you’re convinced he can play center.
I have no idea if he could or would want to. I’m simply asking what part of his physical stature would be an impediment to him playing center given he is very physical , tenacious and plays a straight up bruiser brand of hockey.

He just needs 500% more tenacity and toughness and to play the wing, then they would be identical
I think we can forgive him for lacking some toughness being he’s so young. I could see him becoming a little more tenacious. He likely isn’t going to end up with Marchand levels of motor but he’s not done developing.

My point is his stature isn’t any type of impediment to him playing with other larger men and being competitive or even dominant in the areas he currently needs to improve on.

He’s probably a much more effective player at wing without the defensive responsibilities and faceoff duties that are required of a center. Could he play 3C on Florida? Probably. Don’t think they would ever consider it with Lundell currently at 3C.
