Still have hopes for an RHD like Walker or Carrier if Zito feels like it, but not sure where we will go !

I don't think this team really needs top-9 forward. They always can try Samoskevich there. I want to see one more 2-nd pair D and one more 3-rd pair D

Duke's only 28, so that contract is not bad for the Islanders. They need some speed and some scoring, they have plenty of grinders. Don't think he'll lose much of a step by the time that contract is done.

Even if they use Sammy on the 3rd line, top 4 dman is missing. Ghostbear? As much as today sucked, Montour was not very good last year, OEL is a big loss but not much could be done, Stenlund is a big loss that I think is a mistake, and Lomberg isn't worth what he got paid as much as it sucks. Obviously Stolarz was so good but Knight was always coming back this year and he was not gonna take AHL starter money lol.

As of right now, the Panthers are certifiably soft team. Atlantic teams getting tougher and meaner while Zito trying to figure out how get rid off all physicality. The dark days of getting manhandled are yet again here.

Definitely gonna need to find more grit somewhere.
