As of right now, the Panthers are certifiably soft team. Atlantic teams getting tougher and meaner while Zito trying to figure out how get rid off all physicality. The dark days of getting manhandled are yet again here.

I think we'll be fine. Our identity had started to change last year from shit disturbers to business like assassins. As long as we still have functional toughness we'll be ok

Balinskis played really well last season but couldnt crack the lineup anymore once everyone Was healthy

I thought Mackie Samoskevich looked like he could play NHL minutes last season. I also liked Balinskis, and it's clear the Panthers did, too. I would tentatively pencil them in at 3RW and Balinskis at 3LD.

Nate Schmidt could be interesting, since Zito was interested in him a few years ago. Did he play for Maurice in Peg? No idea if he's good or not these days though
