All I can say is after listening to Corrado for the past week I understand why Babs didn't like him. And noticed Hayes got short with him a few times too. He just doesn't know how to shut up and let others talk and also interrupts to say the most stupid obvious things.
The problem is Corrado is basically an ahler and talks as if he was a veteran in the league. There’s only so many stories you can tell about Babcock and being scratched all year. Like why do I want to listen to a players perspective on the game, when he wasn’t even good enough to play.

Disagree. I think Frankie does a good job. He's no O'Dog as far as entertainment but he has alot more astute opinions. The fact Babs the Idiot didn't like him validates him all the more.

The one who would make an excellent replacement would be Mike Johnson. Always enjoy his takes.

Thats exactly what Noodles does the entire time. Now they have two.
You should hear how many times he interrupts Tatti on the post game show.

Its fine when ahl lifers dont take themselves too seriously (unlike Corrado).

No one else would have called out Hayes for this:

Hayes and O-Dog especially had amazing chem. Noodles is great at queuing both of them. But It really was a case of the sum being greater than all of the parts. But in my mind, O-Dog has always been the straw that stirs the drink for that show. He is absolutely hilarious. His banter with the other 2 was what made the show for me. It wasn't even just with Hayes and Noodles either, His banter with Strudwick, MJ, Ray and all the other regular guests was the best.

Really hope he's back soon. I find Corrado and even Coliacovo a hard listen to be honest. I am less concerned about hard, factual takes when I listen to overdrive. I just like the banter.

I can't listen to Coliacovo, he's maybe the worst I've ever heard. Take it FWIW as I don't spend much time at all watching/listening to sports media but when I used to listen on my morning commute, he was so bad that at some point I just decided to never turn the dial there again. And I happened to catch a bit of his babbling before game 6 against TB and he was just awful. He wasn't interested in an discussion of who should be in the lineup, any time anyone offered any thoughts he just kept interrupting so shout - I don't care who plays, just get it done. Yeah OK dude, just get it done, that's deep man. What a self-important blowhard.

Happened to listen the last couple of days and can’t help but agree about Corrado. Says nothing of value and is constantly interrupting people. That show tanks without O-Dog

Probably tanks, agreed. It's not so much that O-Dog is so special, it's that the 3 of them fit together so well. But O-Dog's abrasive personality is I'd say the hardest to replace. I mean if it was one of the other two, you could probably find the right person to replace them and the show could be just as good. O-Dog though, a lot harder to replace that personality.

If you think Corrado's bad (and I don't disagree), you should check out Coliacovo some time, holy smokes does he ever suck.

Based on the timeline the rumor of him losing his shit during panel work makes a lot of sense. Maybe suspension with some anger management counseling or something. All this talk about substance abuse , you guys must not listen to the show, ODog barely drinks now.
I don't drink any more.

I don't drink any less, either....:naughty:

Exactly he quit drinking and smoking darts a while back.

Yes, he’s even worse, so much that I stopped listening to that morning show altogether

We shouldn't expect anything else from Carlo when you consider that his "mentor" on the morning show would have been Michael Landsberg.
