He is not there true. But by now he should be familiar with their weak mentality and take a timeout when he sees that we are being stomped. I am not saying it would have made a gigantic difference, but its coaching 101. Manage your timeouts. Also his stubborn line decisions and game time management.... I can go on, but we are stuck with the players, so our hope is that a new coach will bring a new mentality.

The problem with the Leafs is they are so predictable and one dimensional.

Caps were down by two and started hitting the Leafs and slowing them down. Leafs stopped skating, Caps took control and we are where we are.

Happened in the infamous game 7 years ago and happened in game 6 and 7 against the Bruins last year.

Other teams know full well Leafs are a soft team and can be INTIMIDATED. They'll play Leafs style and if the Leafs are up on them they resort to playing a more physical game...then Leafs are toast.

It can be fixed but will they fix it???
