Honestly, I think Marty just doesn't know how to teach defensive structure. Other parts of the game make sense.
I don't think the habs are trying to do anything that is unknown to other teams, it's the intensity level that is unacceptable.
Barron, the only guy with fresh legs has all the time in the world to clear the puck, does a half-assed clear and gives the puck away.
