Goaltending will need to be better if this team is to make any progress.

For now, it helps the tank and accumulate talents. In the future, when even with goaltenders that can't stop beach ball, we reach a level where we are in the mix, some moves will be made to acquire starting level goaltending, which should put us over the top.

As a former goalie, it always annoys me when they say "___ goalie had no chance on that play"

Tips, and quick plays like that are not unsaveable. Positioning plays a big role as does - in this case - awareness and agility.

ya being lucky can get you saves, but complete defensive breakdowns and prime scoring chances isn't on the goalie. maybe if we didn't leave our goalies out to dry every night they would have a better chance....
