There is a big issue in Winnipeg over TNSE adding in 278 loge seats in front of the current upperdeck patrons, and making formerly unobstructed seats obstructed. Even to the point where people can't see the net anymore.

Just wondering, is there anyone in other cities that sit in obstructed seats and how does your team deal with this?

- did you know they were obstructed before you bought them?
- do you get a discount over seats that aren't obstructed?
- any other comments.

I sat directly behind some cameras at a Flames playoff game, couldn't see anything the whole time.

I bought the tickets through StubHub, and nowhere did it mention that the view would be obstructed. So I complained about the seats, and they gave me a partial refund.

I'm still mad about it. The refund wasn't enough to make it worthwhile. The only playoff game I've ever attended was ruined.

Dude, I just bought season tickets up there and they didn't tell me that they were behind the cameras. Luckily we had a "eureka" moment when we looked at the seating map and demanded that they change our seats. The worst part is when we originally called our ticket rep, he wouldn't give us an answer regarding if our tickets were obstructed or not. We had to come in and "look for ourselves".

Now our concern is that the railing might be in our view at our new seats.

Very unimpressed with how the Flames handle the obstructed views up there.

Absolute garbage. They're not even "important" cameras. Those angles rarely get used. There's no reason they can't be at the top of the section, behind everybody.

There are some upper-level seats at PNC Arena that have obstructions similar to this:

IIRC they're listed as something like "may be obstructed view" on Ticketmaster. Not discounted though.

Still not as bad as people that lean forward. If you ever notice popcorn in your buttcrack, you should probably lean back.

I'm not truly complaining as I knew it would be obstructed going in.

However, I paid $340 to sit behind tow adjoining pieces of penalty box plexiglass and the view is as atrocious as expected.

Those of you paying for season tickets there, I weep for you.

I've been to events where certain sections were roped-off, since the view was obstructed. Rather than sell sub-standard seats, they had small empty areas.

I can't imagine paying for a hockey ticket only to find out that you can't even see the net! I've had some nosebleed seats for hockey games, and had handrails (and leaners) in my view. Nothing I couldn't live with (or yell at). But what is the point if you can't see the net!?

I honestly never knew some seats were that bad.

Wow to Barclay's a new arena. Guess it was made for basketball. They should sell those seats for $10

 What? You're following the wrong sport if you don't like to be on the edge of your seat.
