Does anyone have video or a good picture of Alex Daigle's empty net goal, and ensuing celebration against the Czechs (?). I saw the game on repeat on christmas day and had a good laugh about Daigles gloves off, sliding on his knees, shooting guns to the crowd....

The best thing about that goal is that it was waved off for being hit with a high stick by McCabe.

Jeff Friesen than scores an empty netter and adds another stupid celebration and gets a penalty for it. :biglaugh:

He was pretty good that year, but not the best Canadian forward (Jason Allison).


He had 2 goals and 8 assists for 10 points in 7 games.

He didn't make the tournament All-Star Team either.
