Could be a good win win trade here if both pitchers can bounce back.
Williams when on is obviously a top closer but there are injury risks and damn he blew up in the playoffs that year. Both him and Nestor gave up some crushing HR!
He had a broken back last year. I just meant more i jury concern. He’s elite when he’s pitching and healthy.22: 1.93 ERA in 60 IP
23: 1.53 in 58 IP
24: 1.22 in 21.2 IP
There's really nothing for him to bounce back from...he's had a couple playoff meltdowns but with 2.1 career IP you can't chalk it up to anything other than sample size right now.
They still have a ton of holes in the lineup. Judge needs help offensively and you cannot count on Stanton to be playoff Stanton for 162 games.Yankees are doing a great job this offseason. I like what theu are doing. They are better now without giving that soto deal. Spreading the money around and filling needs. I hate saying this by the way
Torres is one of best hitters at 2B, but he sucks defensively and he has a lot of mental lapses on the bases AND defensively.Have to get some more bats, personally I'd bring back Torres because since 2018 he's done nothing but put up good numbers in the postseason. I like this move a lot though we needed a closer.
He’s a frustrating player in the regular season but the guy rises to the occasion.Torres is one of best hitters at 2B, but he sucks defensively and he has a lot of mental lapses on the bases AND defensively.
I am not opposed to his return, but he would not be my first choice.
